Don't Judge a Book by its Cover

THE BRAIN WORKERS HANDBOOK
By Kurt Kauffmann & Uve Jens Kruse, Efficiency Magazine, no date circa 1910?
Hardback
This little gem is the possibly one of the worlds earliest Business Motivational books.
Basically it's all about having to think. To use your brian in fact. While working.
Essentially, it's the first stone wheel to Anthony Robbins' Ferrari Testorosa
So for this charming legacy we should probably hunt down the esteemed authors descendants and thank them.
(Or hit them depending on your view.)
For without this humble little volume we may never have had;
- "The One Minute Manager" (I personally subscribe to the One Minute In-law variation.)
- "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" (we're not talking reading on the loo and collecting stamps people!)
- "Who Moved My Cheese" (not me, I'm dairy intolerant!)
- "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" (I am soooo over it!)
- "How to Succeed in Business Without a Penis" (Very important if you are so afflicted. Probably quite helpful if you are a woman too...)
- "The E Myth" (not to be confused with E News Live which I personally prefer.)
- "Management Secrets of Genghis Khan" (cos he did such a great job if you don't include all those people he killed!)
- "Awaken the Giant Within" (and then watch him eat whole villages in a single gulp!)
- "The Empty Raincoat" (this one sounds like a "how-to" manual for recovering flashers.)
- "Get A Life" (I only wish I could - are you allowed two at the same time?)
And literally scores of others.
Thank-you gentlemen from all of us.
