Williams and Norgate, London, 1863. Red cloth has bumped corners and edges. The spine is damaged with quite a big absence. The remains of the spine have been glued. Tiltles are still visible though faded. Internally tight with intersting inscription on front e/p which also has heavy age-discolouration.

We also have a copy of what we believe to be the true first edition of this title and this copy appears identical text wise but it lacks the ads at the rear and the coloured e/p's with William and Norgate publications. It is also slightly smaller size-wise - 8 1/4 inches tall rather than 9 inches. There are no publishing details other than those that are identical to the first edition. Perhaps a cheap edition? Or a facsimile?
