Tara has been given supernatural powers as part of a govt uplift scheme to relieve the growing poor. Swept up by rebellion leader, Seng, to join the fight against the oppression of the rich. She befriends Seng’s motley team and joins them in two trialling raids including on a civilian town. Considering then whether this war could ever be effective and if the cause has already been lost to a greed for power instead. She’s persuaded to abandon Seng and in-turn is obliged to lead.
