John Wiley & Sons, New York, 1900. Seventeenth edition, fifty-nine thousand. Revised. The soft brown leather from the back cover wraps around the book and over the front, covering the fore edges and with the word "Trautwine" in gilt on front and gilt titles on the spine. The leather is in pretty good order for its age, with rubbing of edges and chipping at spine ends. The spine is slightly faded. Gilt page edges are bright. xxxii, 866pp plus 23pp ads at rear. Hinge is cracked at end of index but binding tight, contents clean. Previous owner's inscription dated 1902 at front. A very nice copy.
