Green cloth boards with gilt lettering on front and spine. Cloth is somewhat discoloured and soiled. Front board is cupped and top 2 inches of spine is cracked. Spine is delicate and spine edges are frayed. Corners are bumped. Dedication to previous owner, signed by author on front e/p. Some scattered foxing throughout. All illustrations and maps present but 1 of the illustrations has been drawn on.
