New Zealand Warbirds
Title:
New Zealand Warbirds
King, John
$35.00

Published by Century Hutchinson. This first edition published 1989.
Very good condition. Very minor fading to margin of dust jacket spine.

Noisy and spectacular, these warbirds can often be seen gracing the skies of New Zealand. The New Zealand warbirds association was set up in 1978 to salvage as many surplus RNZAF trainers as possible before they were sold overseas or became scrap metal. Its members now own and operate a large collection of vintage and historic aircraft, which continue to be seen in the New Zealand skies today.

In this book, John King describes each make of warbird in the collection and their specific design features, ranging from the American Stearman to the British Spitfire and Tiger Moth to the Canadian Chimpmunk and Beaver.
