New Zeland and Australia have been the breeding ground of many famous caricaturists and Low describes fhis early years there with insight and humour. In 1919 he came to England to pursue his career. He has now written tthe story of the last half-century, seen through the eyes of a professional commentator with an almost fanatical regard for his own independence and integrity, and an obstinate determination to express his mind freely in terms of caricature.
