Many illustrations. Blue cloth is embossed on front with the title and an emblem of an ice-axe & coil of rope and with gilt lettering on spine. Corners, edges and spine ends are mildly bumped and rubbed. There is a 4x2cm hole in the binding of the spine otherwise boards are tidy. Roughcut page edges are mildly foxed foxed throughout but but predominantly the first and last few pages and endpaper's discoloured. Binding is tight and sturdy. Signed by Author.
