For almost 25 years, Pamela Bradley had been living a comfortable existence in an affluent Sydney suburb. Sometime in the late 1980s she became increasingly fearful of not having enough time left to follow the path her inner voice had been urging her to take since childhood.

This is the story of how she changed her life by embarking on a series of physical and spiritual journeys to Egypt. Ultimately she found love in Egypt, and at the age of 52 stepped into the unknown, marrying a Muslim man 28 years her junior.
