Brehm and his fellow para-rescue jumpers or PJs are prepared to brave hurricanes at sea, altitude sickness on mountaintops, blizzards,& scorching deserts - these heroes have the "right stuff." They are the military's most elite force, a highly trained group of men serving the U.S.A.F. and Nat. Guard with a mandate to fly behind enemy lines during war and rescue downed pilots. PJs also perform daring civilian rescues. Brehm was the PJ supervisor who coordinated the dramatic rescue efforts in "the Perfect Storm".
