Da'Vella is an established New Zealand artist and teacher. Impulsive by nature, she set out one day, while painting on the West Coast, buy a pound of butter, and returned instead with a Historic Catholic Church. She transported the materials to her home at Lake Hayes, and with imagination and artistic flair, designed and built a grand old English style home. Injured in a near fatal car crash, her life is drastically changed.
