Title:
Captain Joseph Nias and The Treaty of Waitangi - A Vindication $150.00
L.T. Watkins, Wellington, 1938. Green cloth has some creasing and fading and corners are bumped. Gilt titles on spine. Contents tight. Previous owner name on front e/p. There is some rubbing above the name where something has been erased which has damaged the surface of the paper. Not a major problem. 96pp.
Nias was Commander of the HMS `Herald which carried Captain Hobson to New Zealand and his signature appeared on the Treaty of Waitangi as a witness.
