Translated by W.J. Strachan. Dark blue cloth has area of fading to top of spine and minor bumping to corners and spine ends, else pretty good. Gilt titles on spine a little faded. Foxing to front e/p which has also had the top corner cut out (presumably to remove previous owner name). Contents otherwise tight and clean. 168pp.
DW has creasing, tears and absences. It also has edging, probably from old library-type plastic cover.

Andre Lhote (5 July 1885 – 25 January 1962) was a French sculptor and painter of figure subjects, portraits, landscapes and still life. He was also very active and influential as a teacher and writer on art.
