Told from multiple points of view, Screw Loose is a very funny, somewhat chaotic tale of a group of teenagers trying to navigate their way through the school year. The story is loosely underpinned by the Desperate Housewives-style machinations of uber-bitch Chelsea. We love this book! It's ridiculous, fresh and original, with lots of quirky humour and cheeky multiculturalism. It's so refreshing to read a book which doesn't glamourise or stereotype kids with ethnic backgrounds - these kids are real, and just as weird and complex as their Anglo friends.
