Whitcombe and Tombs, Christchurch. No date but presumed first edition published in 1885. There is an previous owner name, dated 1886 on front e/p. Brown cloth is decorated with black on front. Boards are bumped and chipped on corners and spine has been repaired. Rear gutter is cracked but contents are complete and tight. Some scattered foxing throughout, particularly to e/p's and prelims.
