Suggestions for Health Education in Primary Schools is intended to be a guide to help teachers plan a systematic school programme in health education which will focus on the health needs and interest of children during their growth and developmentl; foster an awareness in children in the value of good health and provide learning experiences which will motivate healthy living; provide a health school enviroment; use school health and safety services, parent and community resources to assist in the development of understanding, attitudes, and behaviour.
