For about 115 years the Union Steam Ship Company has dominated the New Zealand shipping scene. Formed at Dunedin in 1875, it quickly gained control of the Australasian shipping industry, outgrowing all of its antipodean competitors. This book features some of the more than 350 ships that it has owned.
